OLCOTT — A 28-year-old woman who was stopped for driving a vehicle without plates is facing drug charges after Niagara County Sheriff's deputies found hypodermic needles and other drug supplies.

Stefanie P. Seeger, 5979 Washington St., was found driving down Lockport Street at approximately 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in a car without plates or registration. She was stopped as she pulled into her own driveway.

Seeger gave patrol consent to search her vehicle, where 11 hypodermic instruments were located in a backpack in the front seat. The needles were inside of a pouch that also contained two spoons, Q-tips, a tourniquet, and matches. She admitted they were hers and was taken into custody and charged with possession of a hypodermic instrument, unregistered motor vehicle, and no plates.

She was remanded to the custody of the Niagara County Jail in lieu of $250 bail and is scheduled to appear in Town of Newfane Court on Oct. 28.
