SANBORN — The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau is investigating a robbery that occurred around 2:01 this afternoon at the Niagara Wheatfield Federal Credit Union, 2346 Saunders Settlement Road.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately six-feet tall, 180 pounds, and in his early- to mid-30’s. He was wearing a grayish shirt over a white shirt, blue jeans, a black baseball cap, and light brown boots. He was observed operating a light-colored four-door sedan, possibly a 2000-2004 tan Chevy Malibu.

No weapon was displayed or threatened.

A similar robbery occurred at the Sanborn Subway on Tuesday. Although NCSO has not said it is the same suspect, the suspect description and vehicle are the same as this afternoon's.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Investigator Stephen Gaydos at 438-3407.
