The Lockport Express' new bus is currently parked at the DMV, but it won't
be staying there.

The bus was "purchased from a dealer in Philadelphia so that our players would have a comfort level for road trips rather than renting one for each trip," according to Express Head Coach Frank Vecchio.
"We have made several upgrades to the audio/video system as well as GPS and added some logos and thanked our sponsors, as well," Vecchio said.
While the bus is currently in the DMV parking lot, it won't remain there, city officials say, but they wanted to show it off.
The Express plays a pair of games this weekend at Niagara University's Dwyer Arena. Both games — scheduled for 12:50 p.m. Saturday and 5:20 p.m. Sunday — will be against the Syracuse Stampede.
"They started off the year a bit slow, as they had a bit of a short bench, but they are a well-run, well-coached team," Vecchio said. "They have come on lately and already have one player — Xavier Perron — committed to Utica College for next season."
"We need to be focused and ready to go this weekend if we want to get four points," Vecchio said.
