ROYALTON — A 34-year-old Chestnut Ridge Road man was arrested by New York State police and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and forcible touching.
Brian N. Beals' arrest comes after New York State Police investigated a report from Child Protective Services that Beals had inappropriate contact with a child less than 17 years old. The investigation revealed that Beals did have inappropriate contact with the child at his residence in July.
Beals was arraigned before Town of Lockport Judge Leonard Tilney and was released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear before the Town of Royalton Court on Sept. 18.
