TOWN OF LOCKPORT — Nine vehicles were damaged late Friday or early Saturday morning in a parking lot behind a Robinson Road apartment building.
Niagara County Sheriff's deputies were called to a report of multiple vehicles with their tires slashed while parked in the lot behind 6285 Robinson Road. One of the vehicles was also "keyed." Patrol spoke with the owners of the vehicle about the criminal mischief that occurred, from speaking with them, it was determined that the damage occurred between 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.
he total damage to all of the vehicles combined was estimated at $1400. There were 15 tires total that had been damaged on the nine different vehicles. One of the victims owned two of the vehicles, he had four tires damaged in the incident. Another victim had a right front tire punctured and a left rear. That same vehicle also had significant scratches all around the rear and trunk of the vehicle.
Patrol spoke with all but one of the damaged vehicles owner's. Patrol left messages for the un-interviewed owner to call NCSO when they can. Patrol advised all on scene to call the NCSO if anything further occurred or if they have any additional information to provide to patrol.
Patrol checked surrounding areas and interviewed neighbors for further information, with negative results but will be following up with the investigation.
