Steak Stone & Sushi was one of the big winners of the 2014 Taste of  Lockport.

With another Taste of Lockport is in the books for the Lockport Business Association, the group has announced the winners for this years' exhibition.

Steak Stone & Sushi, Lockport's newest eatery, took the award for best appetizer, while Dee's Sugar Shack snagged the award for best sandwich, Chiavetta's brought home the award for best entree, and Lake Effect Ice Cream took top honors for best dessert. Cousins Cafe won the award for best booth in the superhero-themed festival.

The event had a good showing despite a smaller-than-normal list of vendors.
