Ronald H. Lindemann passed away August 7, 2014 in Buffalo General Medical Center.

Born in Buffalo on November 20, 1941 he was the son of Herbert E. and Dorothy (Fiedler) Lindemann. Ronald worked for the Sheet Metal Workers Union #71 over 40 years culminating his career as both a business agent and manager. He was a volunteer and very active in various organizations including the Olcott Yacht Club, Olcott Lions Club, the Western New York Morgan Owners Group, Lockport masonic Lodge and the Newfane Historical Society. Ronald enjoyed farming, and collecting and restoring tractors. He was an avid metal craftsman, Ronald also restored several steeple crosses for Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Barker where he was also a member.

Ronald is survived his beloved wife Joanne (Popp) Lindemann; dearest father of Matthew J. (Sarah) Lindemann; brother of John (Kris) and Richard Lindemann; step-son of Harriet Lindemann; nephew of John E. and Karolina Lindemann; step-father of Mark (Cora) Popp, Debra (Jeff) Zapp, Darlene (Charles) Porter, Kathleen (John) Winegard, and Suzanne (Brad) London; grandfather of Seth and Charlotte Lindemann and seven step-grandchildren; also seven nieces.

Relatives and friends may call Monday, August 11th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, August 12th at 10 AM in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Interment will be in Clarence Center Cemetery. Memorial donations to Roswell Park Cancer Institute would be appreciated by the family.
