ENP STAFF REPORTS

TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A resident of Millburry, Maine told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies Friday afternoon that a man had struck his bike with a vehicle near the entrance to the Woodlands.
The man told patrol that he was traveling southbound on the shoulder of South Transit Road around 2:41 p.m. riding his bike, while also holding a bike next to him. As he approached the entrance to the Woodlands, a vehicle pulled out quickly and struck the bike next to him.
The complainant said the vehicle was an older burgundy sedan and believes the white male operating was in his 70s. The man said he was not injured and the vehicle only struck the bike next to him causing damage to the front of the bike.
Patrol checked with staff from the Woodlands and they were unsure who may have been operating the vehicle. The suspect vehicle may have minor damage to the front right quarter panel or possibly the passenger side door.
