WHEATFIELD — A Town of Lockport man told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies Friday morning that someone stole at ATV from his Niagara Falls Boulevard business.
The man said the theft occurred sometime between 9:30 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday. The ATV was a 2009 Polaris Sportsman 500 red and black in color with winch controls mounted over the right side handle bar. The ATV was currently registered and plated in New York.
The complainant said that the ATV was worth $5,000. He believes that the ATV would have been walked or taken away on a trailer as he still had the keys. One other detail that he provided was that the ATV's ignition switch was "touchy" and was in need of replacement.
The report was forwarded to the Criminal Investigations Bureau.
