RAPIDS — A resident of the 6200 block of Crosby Road reported to Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that someone shot his barn last week.
The man told patrol that sometime between Aug. 3 and Saturday, "an unknown person fired two rounds into the rear of his pole/storage barn on the west side of the building." He said his house was struck by a round a few years ago and is concerned about the unknown people target shooting and hunting in the wooded area behind his residence.
The total cost of damage to the pole barn is approximately $200.
