Jedadiah Aikin
TOWN OF LOCKPORT — An Ellicott Road man and a Plank Road woman were both charged with traffic infractions after Niagara County Sheriff's deputies saw one driving without a license and the other driving with no plates.

Jedadiah J. Aikin, 29, 7106 Ellicott Road, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation around 10 a.m. Monday for allegedly driving without a license on Slayton Settlement Road. Patrol had noticed Aikin driving a blue Ford Focus and knew him to be without a license.

Following Aikin in a tan Buick was Danielle K. Baker, 26, 330 Plank Road. The Buick had no license plates on it, according to the NCSO report.

As patrol was following the vehicles, Baker turned into an address on Slayton Settlement Road. Patrol followed and initiated a traffic stop, informing her that her car had no plates. The woman said she was aware of that and she was planning on taking the car to be scrapped. She added that the plates from the Buick had been transferred to the blue Ford that Aikin was driving.

Baker was given traffic tickets for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. The tan Buick was towed and Baker is due in Town of Lockport Court on Aug. 5.

After finishing with Baker, patrol found Aikin walking down the road and stopped him, where he was charged. He was transported to Niagara County Jail and held on $250 bail. He was slated for an appearance in Town of Lockport Court on Tuesday.
