The National Weather Service says thunderstorms across the region today will have the potential to produce heavy rain ... with amounts of up to two inches. "Possible rainfall of this magnitude would likely lead to localized poor drainage flooding — and fast."
The rain will be accompanied by winds with gusts of up to 32 miles per hour and a high of 81 degrees. Overnight there's a chance of more showers and thunderstorms with a low around 63.
Monday, there's a slight chance of showers with a high near 81 and a low around 63. Tuesday calls for a chance of showers and thunderstorms with a high near 72 and a low around 55. Wednesday will be partly sunny with a high near 72 and a low around 55.
Thursday will be mostly sunny with a high near 73 and a low around 57. Friday will be sunny with a high near 77 and a low around 61. Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80.
