GASPORT — Niagara County Sheriff's deputies on Friday took a report of a riding lawn mower having been stolen from a Checked Tavern Road home.
According to the report, an unknown person took the lawn mower from an attached garage at the home. The vacant home is currently owned by Wells Fargo Bank, but the lawn mower belongs to a Barker man, who found it missing Wednesday when he went to the home to mow the lawn.
The value of the black and yellow riding lawn mower is approximately $350. The house was previously burglarized, but there were no signs of forced entry this time.
