NEWFANE — A South Main Street resident told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies Friday night that his home had been vandalized.
The man told patrol that sometime Thursday or Friday someone spray painted a racial slur on the siding of his home. The damage take up around three feet of siding. The man and his family were going to try and clean it off.
The complainant is a 93-year-old white male, who told patrol he has no problems with any specific individuals.
The report said that patrol is going to make the Criminal Investigation Bureau aware of the incident due to the recent string of criminal mischief in the Newfane area.
