The Niagara County Fair kicks off in two weeks with new things to see and do for 2014.

New at the 2014 Niagara County Fair is the CCE Agriculture Discovery Tent and Demonstration Garden. In this tent, which will be located near the Sheriff’s Tent, attendees will find interactive displays about agriculture and food systems in Niagara County. As people follow the path though the tent you will exit into the CCE Demonstration Garden, where they can learn about container and vertical gardens, beneficial insects and garden maintenance. Following the marked path from the garden, patrons will enter the air-conditioned 4-H Training Center where 4-H projects are displayed with their red, blue or white ribbon.

Workshops and demonstrations will be offered daily. Attendees can learn about butterflies with SkyRiver Butterfly Exhibit ($1 to enter the exhibit), make balloon shapes with Air Sculpture Balloon Art and watch art being created from logs by Sawdogs Chainsaw Carver.

The fair map showing you the location of all these new entertainers will be available at the admission gate and several locations throughout the fair including the Fair Office and the CCE Tent.

Make balloon shapes with Air Sculpture Balloon Art.
Net proceeds from the fair support CCE-Niagara County programming that benefits children and families of Niagara County.

The 2014 Niagara County Fair will run from July 30 to August 3 at the Niagara County Fairgrounds, 4487 Lake Ave. This year's Fair is sponsored by Niagara’s Choice Credit Union, Niagara County Community College and Cornerstone FCU.
