WILSON — A 60-year-old Newfane man was treated and released at Erie County Medical Center Monday after falling from his bike on Lake Street.
According to the report filed by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, Frank Darrow, of Main Street in Newfane, was bleeding and had a large bump on his head when patrol arrived. He also had scrapes and cuts in multiple locations on his body and was holding his wrist. EMS was on location and speaking with Darrow, who was reportedly drifting in and out of consciousness.
He was taken by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center around 8 a.m. where he was treated in the emergency room and released later that day.
