HARTLAND — A Ridge Road resident told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies Thursday afternoon that someone stole his van from his driveway.
The white van was taken sometime between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday from an address in the 9000 block of Ridge Road, the man told patrol, adding that that the keys were in the ignition but the van had multiple mechanical problems and appears to have been towed from the area.
The value of the van is approximately $1000. Patrol entered the vehicle information into NYSPIN as having been stolen and advised the complainant to look at salvage yards and Craigslist for the vehicle. Patrol also gave the information to Niagara Metals.
