The woman told patrol that when she left for work around 6:40 a.m., all of her items were still there. She said a man she had met on Facebook a several weeks ago was sleeping in her house when she left.

A neighbor, interviewed by patrol, said she had returned home around 7:15 a.m. and the man's car was already gone.

Items stolen include the television, a 14k gold chain with seven charms, a 14k gold heart ring with a diamond, a 14k gold ring with a square diamond, a 14k silver chain with a cross, silver necklace, a heart jewelry box, and two pairs of Nike sneakers. In all, the value of the items was listed as $3,600.

The case was turned over to the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
