TOWN OF LOCKPORT — The Niagara County Sheriff's Office used its helicopter, County One, to locate a utility truck on Wednesday that had been stolen from Niagara Frontier Equipment Sales May 27.
Finding the truck on Wicks Road, patrol was dispatched to recover the stolen $14,000 utility truck along a small ditch that ran perpendicular from the road.
After Sgt. Kevin Locicero was finished processing the scene, a representative from Niagara Frontier Equipment Sales responded and removed the vehicle. The vehicle was brought back to their business for further processing by Sgt. Locicero.
While on scene, neighboring residents came forward with possible suspect information and evidence. That information was given to the Criminal Investigations Bureau.
