TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Beattie Avenue woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that an unknown person knocked over her roadside mailbox on Tuesday.
The complainant told patrol that the mailbox was fine when she left home at 4 p.m., but when she returned around 6:20 p.m., it was knocked over and scattered across her lawn.
Patrol observed vehicle tire tracks across the woman's front lawn in the area of the mailbox but was unable to determine what type of vehicle struck the mailbox.
Case closed pending new suspect information.
