PENDLETON — A 26-year-old Newfane woman was charged Tuesday with DWI following an accident on Bear Ridge Road.
Ashley L. Mullett was in a one-vehicle property damage accident around 8:35 p.m. Tuesday, according to the report filed by New York State Police.
During the interviewing process, patrol noted that Mullett showed signs of possible impairment. A drug recognition expert was brought in to perform an evaluation and it was determined Mullett was impaired by two types of drug substances. Her blood-alcohol content came back as 0.00 percent, but a blood test was obtained by an area hospital.
Mullett was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, as well as improper lane usage. She was released by NYSP and ordered to return to Pendleton Court on June 25.
