news@eastniagarapost.com
The Niagara Wine Trail is celebrating its 12th anniversary with the annual Wine Trail Blossoms event this weekend. Today through Sunday, Wine Trail Blossoms is sure to showcase the wineries spring preparations.
Tickets are limited but some are still available at $45 per person or $75 per couple. Tickets include a tasting of 3 wines for each participant and a flower from each winery. Ticket holders will also receive a commemorative wine glass and carafe flower vase from their starting winery. The event hours are from noon to 5 p.m. today, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Couples tickets will only receive one carafe vase and flower at each winery. Both participants on a couples ticket will receive their own commemorative glass and wine tastings.
Wine Trail Blossoms event tickets are valid for all three days of the event, so patrons may take advantage of spreading their tastings over the weekend. Event attendees are welcome to visit different wineries each day in any order they choose. As a reminder, tickets do not include transportation. A valid photo ID with proof of age is also required to participate in wine tasting.
