A charity run to benefit Lockport CARES and other charities will take place this morning in downtown Lockport.
The 5K run will start at 10 a.m. in front of Lock 34, 80 Main St., with a walk to follow starting at 10:10 a.m.
Day of registration is available for $25 per runner with prizes awarded to the largest group and the best example of unity. Trophies and medals will also be awarded for each age group.
Food and beverages will be provided to the runners and a basket raffle will follow the race.
