ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
TOWN OF LOCKPORT — The owner of apartment buildings on Lincoln Place told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies this afternoon that sometime Saturday or Sunday someone vandalized two of his buildings.
The complainant said that someone used spray paint on gutter and numerous windows on the east side of 6554 Lincoln Pl., as well as the exterior and interior rear door and windows on the north side of 6555 Lincoln Pl., the interior hallway, and the south side of the exterior of that building.
The man told patrol that he believes the unknown person may have gotten the paint and spray paint from an unlocked storage closet located in one of the buildings.
The approximate cost of damage between the two buildings is $1,500.
There have been other reports of vandalism in East Niagara recently, including damage to a sign at DeSales Catholic School over the weekend and to a building in Wrights Corners sometime in the past few weeks.
East Niagara Post now publishes garage and yard sales.
