The grass was getting green, the potholes were being filled, the sun was shining and the mercury was north of 70. But winter wasn't done.
The National Weather Service forecasts as much as an inch of snow on East Niagara today with a high temperature of only 34 degrees. The low overnight will drop to 21.
Wednesday the sun returns but the cool weather remains. The high is forecast as 39 degrees with a 25-degree low. Thursday the temperature will climb to 58 before dropping overnight to 37. Friday will be mostly sunny with a high of 61 and an overnight low of 41.
Saturday calls for a chance of showers with a high of 53 and a low of 38. Easter Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a high of 58 and a low of 37. Monday there's a chance of showers with a high near 56.
