A Lockport woman stands accused of stealing four Playstation controllers and a pair of scissors from Walmart on Sunday.
According to a report filed by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, Erica Rutty, 31, 60 Weld Street, was seen on Walmart surveillance taking the items, placing them in her purse, and going into the ladies restroom. Rutty then exited the restroom and walked out of the store, the report said. The packaging for the controllers was found on the restroom floor.
Patrol located Rutty at her home and charged her with petit larceny. She is to appear at the Town of Lockport Court today.
