Details are sketchy at this hour but officials indicate that a 25-year-old male was stabbed shortly before 2 a.m. when Lockport police and paramedics were dispatched to the parking lot of Lock 34.

ENP - Niagara County Sheriff's deputies have Main Street
blocked off between Pine and Locust streets while an
investigation is underway into a stabbing.
Mercy Flight 5 landed in Lockport around 2:25 a.m. to airlift the victim — who was also reportedly kicked in the face and suffers a laceration to his hand — to ECMC. Mercy Flight took off towards Buffalo around 2:38 a.m.

Available patrol was dispatched to Lock 34 at approximately 2:45 a.m. for crowd control purposes. There is a high level of police presence and Main Street is blocked off between Pine and Locust streets. There is also crime scene tape in front of the Main Street entrance to Lock 34, surrounding a large portion of the parking lot behind Lock 34, and in front of the Main Street entrance to the construction site for the new parking lot.

At least one white male was in custody around 3 a.m.

There were two other victims reported from the incident. An ambulance was dispatched to a home on High Street at approximately 2:40 a.m. Further information on the victims is not currently available.

More details when we get them.
