A 35-year-old Williamsville woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies on Saturday that someone took her purse from Sunny's Family restaurant at 5780 South Transit Road.

According to the report, the woman stated that she used the restroom at approximately noon, and hung her purse on the hook on the door, then accidentally left it there. She said she realized the mistake when she arrived home and called the restaurant to see if anyone turned her purse in, however the purse was not found.

The complainant told police that she contacted her bank and credit card companies to advise them of the situation and to cancel the credit cards. She was issued a MV78b for her driver's license that was stolen.

Patrol contacted Sunny's and is currently awaiting review of video footage.
