John N. Franjione
A Sanborn man and a Town of Lockport man were arrested Saturday by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office and charged with petit larceny.

According to the Sheriff's Office report, 27-year-old John N. Franjione, 3088 Shenk Road, Sanborn, and 23-year-old Michael Krueger, 321 Applewood Drive, Lockport went into Walmart shortly before 3 p.m.

Walmart staff reports seeing Franjoine pull clippers out of his sweatshirt pocket and cut the wires on the security device on a 55-inch TV, a HP computer and a Blu-ray player, taking the Blu-ray player and a cell phone charger to the pharmacy and putting it and the charger in a Walmart bag.

Michael Krueger
Franjoine handed the bag to Krueger and left the store, getting into his vehicle and pulling up to the front of the store. Krueger then walked out of the store with the bag containing the Blu-ray player and charger passing all points of purchase.

Patrol responded to Franjoine's residence to interview him. He initially denied being at Walmart but later admitted to Walmart staff's accounts of the incident. Next patrol responded to Krueger's residence. He also admitted to the claims.

Krueger and Franjoine were both taken into custody for petit larceny. In addition, Franjoine was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief for cutting the security wires. The pair was taken to Niagara County Jail and held on $500 bail. Both are set to appear in Town of Lockport Court on Thursday. The property was returned to Walmart.
