Niagara County Sheriff's deputies were called to Tonawanda Creek Road Thursday evening for a complaint of an unwanted person.

According to the report, a 24-year-old Gasport woman was parked outside a home in the 6700 block of Tonawanda Creek Road, on the phone with the homeowner, using vulgar language and refusing to leave.

When Patrol arrived on location the Gasport woman had already left the area. The complainant told patrol that the woman was upset about IRS tax paperwork that his son had filed.

The Gasport woman told patrol that her ex-boyfriend — son of the complainant — had claimed their daughter on his 2013 tax return. The woman stated that she has residential custody of their daughter and he should not have claimed her on his taxes. She further told patrol that the IRS is now doing an audit on her and that she can not obtain her tax refund to pay her attorney fees. She said that she drove to the Tonawanda Creek residence to try and speak to her ex-boyfriend's mother face-to-face because she is the one who filed her son's taxes.

Patrol told the Gasport woman to have no further unwanted contact with her ex-boyfriends parents. No charges were filed.
