Brian Green
A routine strip search Tuesday at the Niagara County Jail landed an inmate back in court.

According to a report by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, corrections officers were conducting a strip search of Brian J. Green, 37, 328 Ferry Ave., Niagara Falls, when Green became irate over a recent court proceeding.

The report states that Green was abusive and using obscene language, saying that if he had a knife he would stab the corrections officer conducting the strip search. The C.O. began to walk away when Green lunged at him and spit at him, according to the report.

At this point, patrol requested a Town of Lockport Justice and Green was transported to the Town of Lockport for arraignment on charges of aggravated harassment of an employee by an inmate.

Green was scheduled to appear in the Town of Lockport Court this morning to answer to the charge. He was remanded to the Niagara County Jail with a $2000 bail placed on him and transported back to the jail without incident.
