FILE PHOTO - Niagara County Jail. |
According to a report by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, Robert Hilson, 22, of 1953 Falls Street in Niagara Falls, was entering the Inmate Processing Office, when he told guards that he had the marijuana. He then produced a small clear, plastic bag, containing what he said was pot, from between his legs inside the front of his pants.
Hilson, who was originally arrested on a warrant, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of prison contraband in the second degree. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charges, while being held for the Niagara County Court warrant. He is to appear before the Town of Lockport Court on Thursday.
The suspected marijuana was submitted to the NCSO Forensic Laboratory for confirmation of weight and substance.
