BURLINGTON, VT -- Margaret Woodman of Middleport has been named to the Champlain College Dean's List for fall 2015.
Students who are named to the Dean's List have achieved a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Woodman is majoring in Early Childhood/Elementary Education.
Champlain offers traditional undergraduate and online undergraduate courses, along with online certificate and degree programs and 11 master's degree programs. Champlain offers study abroad programs at its campuses in Montreal, Quebec and Dublin, Ireland. Champlain College is included in the Princeton Review's The Best 379 Colleges: 2015 Edition.
Champlain was named a "Top-Up-and-Coming School" by U.S. News & World Report's America's Best Colleges and is ranked in the top tier of 2015 Regional Colleges in the North. For more information, visit www.champlain.edu

BURLINGTON, Vt. — Matthew Baptiste of Gasport, NY graduated from Champlain College on May 9.
Champlain College's 137th Commencement was held at Edmunds Field in Burlington. A total of 503 undergraduates received their associate and bachelors degrees during the ceremony. Champlain College President Donald J. Laackman lauded the students with a a long list of accomplishments the Class of 2015 accomplished during their years at Champlain.
Sara Byers, president of Leonardo's Pizza, gave the commencement speech and received an honorary degree, Doctor of Commerce, along with David Binch, former director of Vermont Information Technology Center. The Senior Class address was given by Mahmoud Jabari of Palestine and Raymond McCarthy Bergeron '04 spoke on behalf of the alumni.
