HARTLAND -- A Checkered Tavern Road home was reported as a "total loss" following a Wednesday evening fire. There were no injuries sustained in the fire however.
Miller Hose and Olcott fire companies responded to the home, 2633 Checkered Tavern Road, extinguishing the blaze. The Niagara County Sheriff's Office and New York State Police also responded to the 911 call that reported the house fire. Upon their arrival they learned that all parties were safely out of the residence.
The investigation will continue by Niagara County Origin and Cause.
