Violet Mae Herberger passed away on Saturday December 19, 2015, in Briody Health Care Facility.

Born in Somerset, NY on June 12, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Lulu Arnold Sherriff.  Violet enjoyed traveling in her motor home with her late husband, Robert, as well as camping, campfires and her dogs.  She was predeceased by her husband, Robert A. Herberger, Sr., who passed away September 4, 1998.

Violet was the mother of Robert A. (Denise) Herberger, Jr., of Wappingers Falls, NY, Sandra (Colin) Black of Captiva, FL., and Kathleen (Brian) Belson of Lockport; she was the grandmother of Lindsey (Ben), Mark, Breanne, Carrie and Brian Jr. (Rachel); great grandmother of Grayson, Chloe, Ava, Lila and Lianna.

Friends may call Monday December 21st, 4-8 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, Inc., 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday December 22nd at 10 AM at St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
