Two Lockport men were charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana by New York State Police in separate incidents.
Ricky D. Fluellen, 19, was charged following a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in a parking lot on Dysinger Road in the Town of Lockport. When the Trooper arrived, he immediately detected the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Fluellen was found to be in possession of 1 gram of marijuana.
Joseph P. Kearns, 36, was stopped for speeding on State Route 31 in the Town of Lockport. The Trooper also detected the strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Kerns was found to be in possession of 1 gram of marijuana.
Fluellen and Kearns were issued Appearance Tickets returnable to the Town of Lockport on Jan. 5. Kearns was also issued a speeding ticket.
