CALGARY, Alberta -- The Buffalo Sabres came back to tie the Calgary Flames twice Thursday night, but for the third straight game, Buffalo came out on the losing end.

Rasmus Ristolainen scored all three goals for the Sabres, his fifth, sixth and seventh of the season,

After a scoreless first period, Calgary got on the board at 5:46 of the second with a goal by Sean Monahan. Dennis Wideman and Brandon Bollig assisted. Markus Granlund made it 2-0 with a goal with just 8 seconds left in the second period. Dougie Hamilton and Joe Colborne assisted.

Ristolainen's first Buffalo goal came on the power play at 2:27 of the third period. Sam Reinhart and Ryan O'Reilly assisted. At 4:44, he scored the second -- also on the power play. O'Reilly assisted again. Sean Monahan put Calgary back in the lead at 9:25, assisted by Johnny Gaudreau and Mark Giordano. Ristolainen tied it again at 14:15, assisted by Matt Moulson and Zach Bogosian. The final goal came at 15:10 by Johnny Gaudreau. Sean Monahan and TJ Brodie assisted.
