ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
Aidan Morgan, a 5th-grader at DeSales Catholic School, has added a 4th Neumann Catholic Swim League record in the 100 freestyle to his list of accomplishments.
The old record of 1:02.88 was set in November of 2007 and was held by DeSales Alumni, Brandon Ledford. Morgan currently holds four individual league records. He had his sights set on a few other division records, but his season was cut short when he broke his hand.
DeSales is looking forward to seeing what the future holds for Morgan next year as he moves on to the 11 & over division.
The DeSales Swim Knights finished their season undefeated, claiming the Neumann Swim League Division II championship title for the 2015 swim season. The DeSales swim team is made up of over 50 students from Kindergarten through grade 8.
DeSales is Eastern Niagara County’s only Catholic School, welcoming students of all faiths in Pre-School through Eighth grade. For more information, call 433-4870, visit www.desalescatholicschool.org or attend their open house from noon - 2 p.m. on Jan. 31.
