Suann Barnes of Newfane, wife of the late Harold Barnes entered into rest on Sunday December 6, 2015 at home.

She was born in Buffalo, NY on January 30, 1922. Daughter of the late Albert and Deborah Parsons Ritzenthaler. Suann worked as a Teacher's Aide at Newfane Central School and Niagara County Soil and Water Conservation for many years. She was a member of the Newfane United Methodist Church, MOMS Mother Club and the Newfane Welcome Wagon hostess for several years. Suann was a Master Bridge player in the American Contract Bridge League, a Cub Scout leader and enjoyed quilting and gardening.

Mother of Bruce Barnes of Olcott, NY and Deborah Moore of Lockport, NY. Suann is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on FRIDAY at 11AM. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
