ROYALTON -- A Lewiston Road homeowner told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies on Sunday that some time in the past month, someone stole copper wire from outside his vacant residence.

The complainant told patrol that someone damaged the windows to the home and that there were bullet holes in all of its windows. Patrol also observed copper wire on the outside of the home that had been cut from the residence.

The man told patrol that he came to the residence on Thursday to find the theft had occurred. He said he hadn't been at the home in three or four weeks. He said he is trying to sell the house, which has been vacant for a few years.

Patrol suspect that juveniles have been vandalizing the residence and considers this case closed at this time pending new information.
