NEWFANE -- The Niagara County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the victim in the fatal motorcycle crash this morning on Transit Road.
Police say 21-year-old Justin Ferington of Newfane was southbound on Transit Road when the he left the roadway, striking a telephone pole on the west side of the road. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Niagara County Sheriff's Office Accident Investigation Unit and Crime Scene Identification were called to the scene. Coroner Ross also responded to the scene and transported the victim to ECMC.
The investigation is continuing by the Accident Investigation Unit.
