MEDINA -- A 23-year-old Shelby man was charged today by New York State Police with felony third-degree rape and misdemeanor tattooing of a child less than 18.
According to the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Orleans County Child Protection Services, Sebastian L. Bonk had inappropriate sexual contact with a 15 year old female and gave her a tattoo.
He was arrested after a four-month investigation, arraigned in the Town of Ridgeway Court and remanded to Orleans County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. He is scheduled to re-appear on Monday.
Shelby is just east of Middleport on Route 31.
