MIDDLEPORT -- Residents are invited to the annual Veterans Day Service at 11 a.m. at the Veterans Monument, the Commons, corner of Park Avenue and Main Street.
This ceremony, held by the VFW and the Scouts, will include a flag retiring ceremony. Lunch will be served at the Middleport Fire Hall on Main Street following the services. It was served by the Clute Phillips VFW Ladies Auxiliary 938.
East Niagara Post is the official media sponsor of Hockey Day in Lockport.
