ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
The Roger Sherrie for Mayor campaign is holding a Get-Out-The-Vote fundraiser from 2-4 p.m. Nov. 1 at the Davison Road Inn.
“With the November 3rd election quickly approaching, there is good reason for optimism about pulling off a near historic upset in the mayor's race,” Sherrie said. “But,” he added, “Reality is that the current mayor and her party machine have raised tens of thousands of dollars to spend against me in the final days of the campaign.”
Sherrie, who is running on the Democrat and Working Families lines, said “if we don’t fight, nothing in this city will change. This election is that important.”
Supporters can call the campaign at 417-6236 for ticket information.
