The car went head-on into the pole.

WRIGHTS CORNERS -- The driver of a four-door vehicle was treated for injuries by Wrights Corners EMS crews after a one-car collision with a pole on Route 104.

Wrights Corners volunteers responded to the scene, near Howell Motors, where they insured the safety of the driver and passers-by. Traffic was diverted by Wrights Corners Fire Police during the crash cleanup.

New York State Police also responded to the scene.

The driver's conditions and cause of the accident are not currently available.
