ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
Sheriff James Voutour would like to inform the public of a daylight burglary which took place around 11 a.m. Friday in the 4000 block of Chestnut Road in the Town of Wilson.
The homeowner reported that she was startled to discover a male standing in the dining room area of the home. The suspect is described as a six-foot-tall white male in his mid-30s with a medium build and black hair, described as a "grown out buzz cut.". He was wearing a black puffy long winter jacket with red trim around the collar, a white t-shirt and blue jeans. After being discovered by the homeowner, he fled the house in a small black vehicle with a flat square back eastbound on Chestnut Road.
The Sheriff's Office would encourage anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Inv. Gaydos at 438-3327 or their 24-hour line at 438-3393. The Sheriff's Office also reminds residents to call 911 whenever they may see suspicious activity in and around their neighborhoods.
