ENP STAFF REPORTS

TOWN OF LOCKPORT — An unknown male was chased from a Raymond Road home shortly before 3 a.m. Thursday when a 12-year-old resident of the home stepped on him.
The male, described as tall, dressed in all black with long black hair, had been crouched at the end of the boy's bed. The boy had awakened to go to the bathroom when he slid off the edge of his bed, stepping on the intruder and causing him to stand up and leave the bedroom, then run through the home and out the back door. The intruder didn't say anything.
"The rest of the house was cleared by patrol and upon inspecting the exterior of the house, a chair from the patio set was observed to be placed under the bathroom window and on the ground next to the chair was the window screen that was removed by the suspect," according to the police report.
A K-9 unit was called to track the suspect with negative results.
