The Lockport Business Association is looking for local business members to fill open volunteer positions on its board of directors and advisory committees.
Positions currently open in the business organization geared towards the greater-Lockport community are board member and treasurer.
Candidates must be local business owners or employee representatives and over the age of 18. Board member positions require a commitment to attendance at board meetings, held on a monthly basis.
Individuals who bring creative ideas, strengths in collaboration, and are supportive of fostering a stronger business community are strongly encouraged to apply. Bi-annual elections for board member positions take place in November during the organization's open membership meeting. Board Member positions are for a two-year term, while the treasurer's position is a one-year term.
Interested individuals should send their letter of interest to join the LBA Board of Directors to info@lockportbusinessassociation.com prior to Oct. 30.
