Eleanor M. Culverwell of Newfane, NY wife of the late Donald R. Culverwell entered into rest Thursday, October 01, 2015 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport, NY.

She was born in Lockport, NY April 21, 1927, the daughter of the late Earl and Gertrude McDermott Allen. Her husband Donald died in 1978. Eleanor worked for Oldham Saw, Burt, NY as a machinist for 20 years, retiring in 1990. She enjoyed camping, bingo, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Mother of Kathleen Holtz of Newfane, Donald (Valerie) Culverwell of Ransomville, Janice Culverwell of Newfane, Stella (Joseph Jr.) DeCarlo of Barker and the late Robert Culverwell. Sister of the late Harvey Allen, Mike Allen and Gladys Manke. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
