TOWN OF LOCKPORT -- A pair of men broke into Lockport Apothecary, 6606 Lincoln Ave., early Monday morning but didn't take anything.

According to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, the men are described as a "heavier set male, possibly white, wearing a dark colored hoodie, bandana, dark colored gym shorts and sneakers;" and a "thin male, possibly white, wearing a dark colored pull over, dark colored hat and bandana, a red hoodie underneath the pullover, jeans and unknown footwear."

Video surveillance shows the two men arrive at the drug store around 12:11 a.m. They walked along the east side of the building, at which time the thin male cut the power and phone lines. At 12:44 a.m., they approached the front of the store and used a plywood plank to knock the alarm siren off the building. They then used crow bars to pry open the front door. The heavier male threw the siren box into the building and the pair then fled eastbound and to the back of the building.

Both suspects were observed using a portable radio during the commission of the crime and looking eastbound down Lincoln Ave, possibly to a look-out/third suspect. Patrol arrived just minutes after the pair fled. Nothing was taken from the store and no other property is believed to have been damaged.

The case was forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
